Welcome 30hop team.
I assembled this page to showcase some of my proudest work and help you learn a little more about who I am.
Story First.
As part of my storytelling process, I get to know the people I put in front of the camera to learn how to tell their story. With Dr. Blake and his practice in Waukee, family was the main theme we kept coming back to every time we discussed his project. Whether it was featuring his children and their connection to the practice, or highlighting his bond with his assistants, it was important for the video to match the words the audience was hearing. As important as the video we filmed was, the questions we asked told the complete story.
Branding matters
When creating a brand image for Dr. Blake’s practice, I focused on the high-end touch points that patients experience when they step into the practice. I wanted audiences to feel the modern aesthetic and home-like vibe when interacting with his content. I created an animation that acted as a call to action for their brand with the “Make Your Smile” tagline. The goal for our work together was simple: share what his audience already knew in a way that connected with a social audience.
“It has been huge driving patients to the office. I believe it has done more for getting patients in the door than any standalone ad.”

Social Concentration.
In a distraction-filled world, the fight for eyes on content is a constant battle for big and small brands. Working with Dr. Reid in Northwest Arkansas, I was tasked with not only sharing a brand story, but helping build his social image using Meta Ads. As a new business owner, it was important the work I did with Dr. Reid to effectively communicate what his brand represents. We focused on reel-style brand statements along with a custom 30-second, broadcast-ready spot so he had traditional and non-traditional forms of media to use in his ad campaign.
Photography Frames.
I started my career holding a video camera, but learned how to use a DSLR to capture high school sports. I’ve been fortunate to be able to capture frames from around the world and I focus on isolating that one specific moment that tells the whole story.
My name is Bob.
I’m an Iowa-based camera operator, producer, videographer, one-man-band, you-name-it content creator. I focus on telling compelling stories with a camera and a computer and take a lot of pride in capturing moments as they happen.
